THE A TO Z CHALLENGE 2018 – THEME REVEAL

THE BLOGGING FROM A TO Z CHALLENGE 2018 – THEME REVEAL

This April I will once again be taking part in the BLOGGING FROM A TO Z CHALLENGE. Throughout the month the challenge is to blog a post each day based on a theme of your choosing, and each day linking it to the corresponding letter of the alphabet. To get involved, visit the website HERE.

EU FLAGS

For 2018, my theme is A TOUR OF THE COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, visiting some of the places and people that make up the collection of 28 nations for a short story each day and exploring the people, places, politics and history of the diverse area. For example, on day one I will be visiting AARHUS, DENMARK for a story of ACCEPTANCE.

It’s also a chance for Britain to have a farewell tour as it careers towards leaving the European Union next year, so some stories will touch on Britain’s relationship with her European neighbours, as well as looking at some of the issues around the split like immigration, borders, shared history, politics and the economy.

imagen

I hope you enjoy reading the stories over the course of April and I hope they will entertain with some humour, pathos, history, romance and for regular readers of my blog some familiar characters may well make a guest appearance. I look forward to seeing what everyone else has come up with for themes, and reading as many of the contributions as I can from the 1st of April. See you then!

A full list of all the entries for the Challenge will appear HERE throughout April.

  1. This is such an awesome challenge. I really can’t wait to read it.
If I may say, I’m Italian and I really don’t understand Brexit very much. I hope your challenge will illuminate me a bit.
Can’t wait to start reading 🙂

    1. Thank you, good to see you again. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure anyone really understands Brexit, other than it all seems a bit depressing and chaotic and the wrong thing to be doing! (I voted to Remain in the EU). But I hope you enjoy the stories 🙂
