ANOTHER WEEKEND OVER

Frank left the apartment early to head into work.

He found Hamish on the front lawn.

Hamish was gagged and hooded, strapped in a straight jacket covered in fake blood, locked inside a shopping roll cage with crime scene tape wrapped round it.

Frank had left the club early the previous night, leaving Hamish with his student friends.

‘Good night?’ Frank asked, as he passed.

Hamish nodded and mumbled something that sounded like ‘the best.’

‘See you tonight. I’ll let them know you won’t be in work today,’ Frank called over his shoulder as he walked down the path.

  2. So casual, and no thought to getting Hamish out of the cage. I think I’m glad I have little to do with Frank.
