REMEMBERING A TRIP TO THE LOCAL PUB ON A SUNDAY

There was much to ponder,

As I took a wander,

Over yonder.

The perfect place,

When she was on my case,

To hide my face.

A decent beer, in a pleasant atmosphere,

I’ve never felt freer,

The end of lockdown will raise a cheer.
