COVER REVEAL: HOSTILE CITY

Delighted to reveal the cover of my new book, HOSTILE CITY, arriving January 2026 – the second book to feature Cal Jackson, after FULL SUN.

Thanks to the team at The Book Guild for another outstanding cover design. Hope everyone likes it.

Synopsis:

A young human rights lawyer, Rose Black, is dead. Her killer is on the run.

As the police fail to apprehend a dangerous murderer, tension rises and fear grips the city.

While Detective Simone Millar is on the trail of a gang destroying properties across Glasgow, far-right agitators are stirring up hatred and division ahead of the upcoming national elections.

Cal Jackson is just trying to keep his head down and stay out of trouble, but when the violence hits too close to home, he can no longer avoid confronting his past – and being dragged back into a world of trouble and pain.

As events conspire to bring them together, Cal and Millar face a stark choice if they want to catch a killer and clean up the corrupt streets of the city – it’s kill or be killed.

More details on how to get a copy to follow.

    1. Ha, it doesn’t feel that fast to me! But finding the time is the most difficult part. Hope you will give it a go and enjoy it!

      1. It seems like it was only a year or two ago when your last Cal Jackson book was released. Do you plan on holding another sale in the near future? Maybe one that includes all of them in the series?

      2. Possibly, still sorting out the details around the launch of the book in January and then see how sales go!
