November Reading Round Up

Another busy month filled with great books, featuring a mix of spies, crime, dystopia, World War II – and sometimes a mix of all!

A number of the books this month were bought from local bookshops (I always lose money at author events as I buy more than I sell) – please shop local where you can this Christmas.

Short reviews available on my Goodreads page.

The Predicament – William Boyd *****
Clown Town – Mick Herron *****
The Lollipop Man – Daniel Sellers *****
The Running Man – Stephen King ****
The Hook and the Eye – Raymond Benson ****
The Traitors Circle – Jonathan Freedland ****
Gunner – Alan Parks ****

  1. Hi, Iain! Sorry for my delay in visiting your page. Thanks for the very interesting recommendation. I stay put as slow reader. ;-/ Best wishes, Michael

  2. I just saw the movie adaptation of The Running Man, it was way better than the original, with Arnold.

    1. I liked them both in different ways – new one much closer to the book though.
