Archie dug his toes into the sand, relaxing in his reclining chair.
From the tepee he heard Agnes clattering about. She stumbled out.
‘You said you wanted a holiday with plenty of sun and sand.’ He didn’t open his eyes as she slumped into the chair next to him.
‘Don’t feign innocence. You knew what I meant and you know I hate camping.’
‘This isn’t camping dear, it’s desert glamping.’
Agnes reached over and jerked the catch on his chair. It collapsed in a heap, with Archie sprawled on top of it.
‘Feeling glamorous yet?’ she asked, as Archie spat out a mouthful of sand.

I first heard of glamping in a novel, and I must say it appeals to me.

Giggles… I wonder how he is now enjoying his outdoor experience? I don’t camp or glamp. Those days are history.
