ALL WE CANNOT LEAVE BEHIND – 112 DAYS UNTIL PUBLICATION

16 weeks to go until the official publication date of my new novel ‘All We Cannot Leave Behind‘ on the 28th February 2024.

Work on the front cover is ongoing at my publisher, but in the meantime, the book listing has started to appear on several online stores, including Waterstones, Amazon, WH Smith and Bookshop.org.

And I’m delighted to present the official blurb for the book – I hope it appeals to readers:

Edinburgh, 1920. Three children are missing, abducted from the poorhouses of the city.

When a body is found near the town of Liberton, Dr Thomas Stevenson, still suffering from the trauma of the First World War, finds himself drawn into the police investigation. But suspicion falls on the woman with the mysterious past who lives with Thomas. Could she be guilty of the brutal murder?

With time running out and lives at stake, Thomas must prove her innocence, but to do that he has to find the real killer and unlock the truth about her secret past.

A past that casts a long, dark shadow.

It’s been quiet on the blog recently, while I’ve been busy writing the next novel in the background (more on that later), but look out for more news in the lead up to publication day for ‘All We Cannot Leave Behind‘ and beyond.
