Join Me at the Nairn Book & Arts Festival 2025

Excited to be able to announce I have been invited to appear at my first festival: the Nairn Book & Arts Festival in September.

After several author events and book signings in stores around Scotland, this is the first time I’ll be appearing as part of a wider festival taking part over a week.

My event is part of a Crime & Wine series, with established crime fiction writer Douglas Skelton and Natalie Jayne Clark on Friday 5th September – I’m honoured to be part of that group, and if crime fiction is your thing, you can get tickets for all three events at a discounted price too.

So if you are free and happen to be in or around Nairn, do come along and hear me talking all things crime fiction, ‘Full Sun’ and the upcoming Cal Jackson novel, ‘Hostile City’, ‘The Barra Boy’ and more.

Do head over to nairnfestival.co.uk to discover more abut this year’s amazing week of events and book your tickets! Other writers appearing include Andrew O’Hagan, Louise Welsh, Donald S Murray, Ali Smith, JJA Harwood, C.J. Cooke, Jan Patience and more – and there are plenty of other arts and cultural events too. #NairnFest

  1. I would love to, but too far away from Switzerland. I love reading, especially crime, so will try one of your books in the near future. I was originally from London, but been living in Switzerland for the past 58 years. I read both German and English and at the moment am deep in crime stories from the Isle of Sky – one of my serial reads. I did once write a book, self publishing, but not a best seller although the copies I had did go further, mainly friends and relations.

    1. Thank you! Do hope you give one of my books a try- The Barra Boy is set on the Isle of Barra, so you might enjoy that, or Full Sun is a summer crime read. Thanks for taking an interest 😀
