THE BARRA BOY – TWO WEEKS TO GO!

It’s just two week until the official publication day for ‘The Barra Boy’ (unless you order a copy from Amazon in the UK, who have already started sending copies out, because, you know, *shrugs* Amazon).

I recently received my author copies of the book, so here’s an unboxing video of the big reveal, with a little help from my daughter. It is very satisfying to see the physical thing in existence, and thanks to my publisher, The Book Guild Ltd, for making such a fantastic job of the design and quality.

If you want to order a paperback copy, all the details can be found HERE.

If you would like a signed copy, get in touch with me directly by emailing iainkellywriting@outlook.com.

An eBook version will be released on 28th June.

How wonderful, Iain! I shall be waiting for the e-book; I have several other signed originals but am at the stage in life of trying to divest rather than gather, so forgive my not jumping at that chance! I have finally got around to reading your first book and will report back when all three are done… YAM xx
PS – was tickled/confused to see that on the Amazon page, there is already a “1 used” for sale at nearly £12 – from Wordery. Were you aware? One would hope that the price increase is because it is felt to be worth it… &*>

    • Thanks Yamini! Will post about e-book details when I have them.
I raised the issue with Amazon releasing the book early with my publisher, and they replied simply that Amazon don’t care about publication dates and as soon as they have the book, they start selling them! Better that than getting the book late, but it does seem unfair on other retailers who abide by publication dates. As for Wordery, who knows, but someone, somewhere must be lying! 🙂
