Instead, I’m staring through binoculars, trying to catch a glimpse of her, a tantalising tease that will satiate my desire for another night.
People will judge me, call me names – a freak, a pervert. Let them. They don’t know what it’s like to have such a compulsion, an obsession, and to be denied it.
A light flickers in the garage as the door slides up. I see her. I catch my glimpse.
One day, that Lamborghini will be mine.

Had the pleasure of an author event at my local library last week, talking about ‘The Barra Boy’ and my writing. Libraries are such a vital lifeline to many, young and old, and need to be protected and supported.

‘The State Trilogy’ and ‘The Barra Boy’ available now.
